MORE APRIL SHOWERS

We've received over 4" of rain so far this month resulting in a large pond in the Back 40. The rain a couple of days ago made the shed an island and I've never seen the water so high in the 13 seasons we've been here.

The shed apartments were flooded as well as those in the brush pile. A Stampy and Mr. Bun had to come out and find refuge elsewhere.

The weather was topsy-turvy. Wednesday featured lengthy thunderstorms with high winds and driving rain and it got up to 72 degrees. The front swung in and by evening it had cleared and the next day, everyone's lawn had greened up but there was a sharp north wind.

This morning, it got down to 31 and by Tuesday, we'll have a run of 70's for a few days. And, we have daffs!!
