CROCUS COLONIES

note: the yellow dots do not represent individual plants, rather, colonies of 2 or more plants in close proximity.

Since I first planted crocus about 10 years ago, the squirrels and perhaps chippers have been transplanting bulbs across the yard. As a naturalizing plant, crocuses can easily spread by themselves so over time, the colonies will multiply–with a little help from their friends.
