FRIDAY AFTERNOON

It was the final day of the term for C with the last act on Tuesday when the grades are sent to the Registrar. She needed to hang out for two hours in case a student wanted something-no one did. She went out to have her paws done (our speak for nail painting) as they were peeling and annoying her. She returned and picked me up for lunch at her favorite sushi place-Sushi Moto. After we ate a tasty meal, we came  home-she was going to have a long soak in the tub then a nappy while I baked another batch of kolache. It was a lovely afternoon: sunny, 55° with little wind. Mr. Bun settled down under a honeysuckle bush and basked in the sunshine.

Eventually he became so relaxed that his eyes closed from time to time and his ears folded back-a sign of a chill bunny!

He stayed there for a good three hours! It's been a good Winter season so far for Buns this year-no snow cover and the grass is still in decent shape. Plenty to eat!

I finished baking, lit the fireplace and settled on the couch surfing YT. Buddy, who had been outside most of the afternoon came in and had a snack. C got up, came out to give me a smooch and went back to her room to began her solstice yoga. Bud jumped on the couch and snuggled for a belly rub. It had been a good day.
