GOING FAST

 

The birch leaves are thinning fast changing the shadows on the shed to more and more of dappling effect. Just from yesterday to today, the loss is remarkable in the neighborhood: Benny's maples next door are just about done as is our small birch. The big maple out front is about half bare. Continued breezy conditions today followed by rain tonight and into tomorrow will empty a lot of trees by the weekend.
