BAFFLE 78, SQUIRRELS 0, RACOONS 1

We suspect this is the work of raccoons. Now, the baffle is held in place underneath by a metal two piece wrap around secured with two bolts and nuts. I had so much difficulty trying to slide the wrap back up that I had to loosen the screws. It was a head-scratcher: how on Earth did those Lil Bandits manage to slide this down? In a Looney-Tunes moment, I imagined two of them on either side of the pole jumping up and down to push it. They came back the next evening and did the same thing although they left the feeder alone. Go figure.
