EARLY JUNE MORNING

After the rain earlier in the week, we've had a stretch of cooler weather with temps reminiscent of Northern Lower MI.

Mr. Grey Spring Moth, who disappears after early June:

Our orange tiger and stella d'oro daylilies and perennial salvia are in bloom:

Grey Molly's resting place:

We've had enough rain to keep things going despite running at a deficit vs average for the last 2 months. Everything is lush and green, especially the lawn which loves this kind of weather. Good eating for those who partake:

Yesterday late afternoon

Clover is in bloom:

 Lavender is starting to bloom:

The borage seedlings are thriving:

The calla's are well up and Mr. Zucchini has taken off after less than 2 weeks after planting:

The tithonia seedlings are doing well:

Martha's marigolds are up and the bunny-attacked gazanias are in recovery:

 Cup plants have taken off!

Indian paint brush-these were in our yard growing up-my Mom loved them:

I hadn't planned on replanting the basil in the kitchen Aerogarden-it just was time to replace the old ones. They have really thrived with the seeds germinating in just a few days. There is so much energy out there with all the growth in both flora and fauna, one cannot help but wonder if this is feeding everything as much as soil, water and air.
