The Big Melt and Saturday Night Music

We've had an entire week of sunny days and 40-50 degree temperatures. This is so welcome after the coldest February since 1978 and that by only a tenth of a degree. The snow is going fast and by Wednesday, crocus, tulips, daffs and day lilies were poking their heads in earnest above the mulch. Friday, when the afternoon high was 58 degrees, a couple of the crocus bloomed. Right on schedule before St.Paddy's Day!
